Full Members

Qualified Urologists actively engaged in the clinical practice of urology within South India.

If practicing outside South India, automatically mapped to Affiliated Members status.
Training & Allied

Associate Members

Urology postgraduates undergoing training at certified, recognized institutions across South India, or registered practitioners of Modern Medicine (Allopathy) fostering urological progression.

Broadens allied multidisciplinary scientific integrations.
External Tier

Affiliated Members

Qualified Urologists holding medical registrations who are engaged in active practice of Urology in geographical regions situated outside South India.

Facilitates structural collaboration with external practitioners.

Conference Rules (Amendments 2004)

  • 01 All authors presenting scientific papers at the Annual Conference must maintain active registration status, with exemptions granted strictly to non-Urologists.
  • 02 Papers at South Zone conferences are restricted to Chapter members. External qualified Urologists must register as Affiliated Members to present or participate.
  • 03 High-tier papers and poster presentation winners selected at State levels are invited directly to ASU platforms, subject to valid membership.
Presentations are cross-verified against active databases prior to peer review tracks.

Cessation & Termination Protocols

Voluntary Resignation

Members may resign at any point by providing a formal notice in writing directly to the Secretary.

Resignation does not absolve liability for unpaid financial dues accumulated prior to termination.

Application Audits

The Council retains absolute administrative authority to terminate memberships or alter categories post-election if material facts are discovered to be falsified or incorrect.

Punitive Dismissal For Misconduct or Default

The Executive Council is empowered to revoke rights if a practitioner is found guilty of unprofessional behaviors or working explicitly against organizational interests.

Fair opportunity is legally guaranteed to present defense directly to the Council.
Final dismissals require verification at AGMs by a two-thirds (2/3) majority.
Membership is terminated automatically if subscription payments are defaulted over an extended timeframe.
